What AI Inbox Is

AI Inbox is a built-in AI assistant for your Adtaria inbox. It reads your contact's LinkedIn profile, recent posts, and your conversation history, then drafts a personalized message you can review, edit, and send.

It handles three types of messages: openers (first messages to new connections), replies (responses in active conversations), and follow-ups (re-engagement when a conversation goes quiet).

You stay in control. The AI writes a draft, you decide whether to send it as-is, edit it, or regenerate.

When to Use It

Use AI Inbox when:

  • You need to respond to a contact but don't want to spend 5 minutes figuring out what to say

  • You're processing a high volume of DM conversations and want to move faster

  • You want to open a conversation with a new connection but need a personalized hook

  • A conversation has gone quiet and you want a natural follow-up

How It Fits Into Adtaria

  • Inbox is where AI drafts live. Click a conversation, press A, and the draft appears in your compose box.

  • Smart reply chips appear above the compose box with context-aware suggestions based on where the conversation is.

  • Contacts data (profile, headline, posts) feeds the AI so it can personalize every message.

  • AI Settings (in Settings) is where you configure tone, opener style, custom instructions, and manage credits.

Key Concepts

  • AI Draft - A message generated by the AI based on the contact's context and conversation history. It appears in the compose box for you to review and edit before sending.

  • Smart Reply Chips - Three clickable suggestions above the compose box that detect the conversation stage and offer relevant next steps (e.g. "Ask about their business", "Deliver the resource you promised").

  • Credits - Each AI draft costs one credit. Your plan includes a monthly allocation, and you can buy more anytime.

  • Direction - Optional instructions you give the AI about what the message should do (e.g. "ask about their pricing model", "mention we met at the conference").

Example Workflow

  1. Open Inbox and click into a conversation.

  2. Press A (or click the AI button) to generate a draft.

  3. The AI reads the conversation and the contact's profile, then writes a reply in your compose box.

  4. Review the draft. Edit if needed, or press R to regenerate.

  5. Press Send.

  6. Move to the next conversation and repeat.

On a typical day, you can process your full inbox in 15-20 minutes instead of 45-60.
