Contacts Overview

Contacts store people and companies you interact with and can be linked directly to deals. Linking contacts to deals keeps communication, context, and deal progress connected in one place.

Contacts live on the Contacts page and can be viewed, filtered, searched, tagged, and customized—just like deals.

Contacts & Deals (Overview)

Contacts can be linked to deals in two ways:

  • Create a new deal from a contact

  • Link a contact to an existing deal

This ensures every deal has the right contact context without duplicating data.

Creating a Deal from a Contact

  1. Open a contact

  2. In the contact panel, click Create Deal

  3. Enter deal details (pipeline, stage, value, etc.)

  4. Save

The deal is automatically linked to the contact.

Linking a Contact to an Existing Deal

  1. Open a contact

  2. In the contact panel, click Link Deal

  3. Search for and select an existing deal

  4. Confirm

The contact is now associated with that deal.

Note: A contact can be linked to multiple deals if needed.

Use Cases

  • Start deals directly from conversations
